Coaltown Baptist Church has faithfully served the Coaltown and Purvis communities for generations, sharing the love of Jesus and building a strong church family rooted in faith and fellowship. Since 1989, Brother Jimmy Breazeale has led our church with a heart for ministry, community and the Gospel.
In May 2026, our church buildings were heavily damaged by a tornado during a Wednesday night service. By God's grave, everyone sheltering inside remained safe. As we rebuild, we continue to stand together in faith, trusting God for the future and remaining committed to serving our community and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
